Keefer Lake Lodge General Terms

Payment Method

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).  Our chosen payment gateway is FLYWIRE

Please note: All credit card statements will show ​Flywire NOT Keefer Lake Lodge.

Booking Policy

  • 25% non-refundable deposit, per person, is due upon booking. *(prior to May 1).
  • 50% non-refundable deposit, per person, is due by May 1.* (to total 50% down)
  • 100% payment is required as of October 1.*

LATE PAYMENTS

As a result of our growing waitlist, payment is due according to the payment structure outlined above.  Late payments will no longer be accepted.

If your 50% deposit is not received by May 1, your seat will be released back into the booking pool, and any money on account will be forfeited.  We will issue a 75% (of monies paid) credit voucher, valid until the end of the following season, only if we find a replacement for your seat.

If your 100% deposit is not received by October 1, your seat will be released back into the booking pool, and all monies on account will be forfeited.  We will issue a 65% (of monies paid) credit voucher, valid until the end of the following season, only if we find a replacement for your seat.

If you have extenuating circumstances, please call us ahead of the payment due date to discuss options.

*In all cases full payment is required by October 1, or at the time of booking (if booked after October 1)

**All seats with an outstanding balance after October 1, will have an interest fee of 20% added to your invoice.  If payments have not been received by Monday, October 17, your seat will be released back into the booking pool.** 

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by guest

If you have purchased a Cancellation Insurance Policy, we will provide you with a cancellation letter to help you initiate your claim and recoup money lost.

Guests who cancel do have the option of finding a replacement (if they have been pre-approved by Keefer Lake) to fill their seat. We will accommodate this at no extra charge if the guests transfer funds amongst themselves. All money on account will be transferred to the new person’s trip payment and will not be refunded to the original seat holder.

If you cancel more than 120 days before your trip, your deposit is non-refundable but is transferable toward any new trip up to the end of the following season. It may not be used toward someone else’s payment on the same trip but may be transferred to someone else purchasing a new booking.

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip, all money on account is non-transferable and non-refundable. For this reason, we strongly suggest that all guests purchase cancellation insurance (see below).

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip and we find a replacement for your seat, you will a get 50% credit of what we can sell the seat for put toward another trip, valid only until the end of the following season. Otherwise, all money is non-refundable as per above.

No refunds will be given due to weather or snow conditions.  

No refunds are given for cancellations of any kind. 

Cancellation by Gostlin Keefer Lake Lodge

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel skiing for any reason. Gostlin Keefer Lake Lodge may elect to provide ski credits ONLY, for the time missed. The credit can be applied to another ski day(s) and is valid until the end of the following ski season.

Orders that are not paid on time will be cancelled and resold.

No refunds are given for cancellations of any kind.

Insurance

Emergency Medical & Evacuation Insurance

All cat skiing packages include limited emergency medical insurance to cover medical expenses incurred due to an unexpected illness or injury that requires hospitalization or a doctor’s visit, including air evacuation to the nearest hospital. This policy will coordinate with other health insurance plans you may have.  View the Emergency Medical and Evacuation summary here.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption

We highly recommend this product solely for the benefit of our guests.  Please review our Cancellation Terms carefully. If you are concerned you may have to cancel, this is your only option to obtain a refund.

This coverage will cover unexpected cancellations prior to your departure and disruptions during your trip that may cause you unexpected travel expenses or the loss of all or a portion of your cat ski trip. (i.e., illness, injury, death of a family member, delayed flights, missed shuttles, etc.)

Known reasons to cancel at the time of policy purchase are not covered.

Release of Liability / Waiver

All guests are required to agree to our waiver terms prior to entering a contract with us.  A paper copy will  of our liability waiver and assumption of risks document will be signed at the lodge prior to any activities.
