Catskiing Trip Prep Checklist

Catskiing is physically demanding. It may be beneficial to start a physical conditioning routine for a couple of months prior to your arrival.

Practice makes perfect. You should have several days in at your local resort before jumping in the cat. We also recommend a day or two at Silver Star Mountain Resort or Big White so you can get a taste of the terrain you will experience at Keefer Lake Lodge Catskiing.

What to bring:

  • Your Skis - Bring your own or we have a selection of Skevik skis and other brands for you to use at no charge. Skevik skis are made in Vernon B.C. Our fleet includes the Anton, Oda, and Loken. They are made for deep powder snow; you may just want to take a pair home. Please note that you are responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage of demo/rental equipment.  In the event of loss or damage you will be responsible for repair or replacement charges. BRING YOUR OWN BOOTS.

  • Your Snowboard - Bring your own or we have a selection of demo snowboards from Lib-Tech, Capita, Spring Break, Cardiff and YES for guest use at no charge. Please note that you are responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage of demo/rental equipment. In the event of loss or damage you will be responsible for repair or replacement charges. BRING YOUR OWN BOOTS.

  • Your Boots - Don’t forget to pack your Ski or Snowboard boots in your hand luggage in case your baggage gets delayed or goes missing. We can provide you with skis and snowboards but NOT boots.
